We are currently auditioning for the 2024 Fall show in SoCal!

What?

Join us for our 13th annual Tap 24.7 show, our professional production featuring original choreography and storyline.

The fall show is being held in Southern California near La Habra, the weekend of

September 27-29

How?

Auditions will take place at

Hart Academy of Dance | 1279 E La Habra Blvd La Habra, CA 90631

Sunday, June 2nd

Ages 8-11 INTERMEDIATE 1:00-2:15 PM

Ages 12+ INT/ADV to ADVANCED2:30-3:45 PM

If you cannot attend the in person auditions, video submissions will be accepted. Please submit your registration and choose video submissions. Learn the choreo after following all the registration steps and submit your video to tapzen24.7@gmail.com by June 3rd.

Who?

We accept tap dancers across the country of varying ages, skill, and commitment levels. This is a flexible experience that you can tailor to fit your schedule and budget.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I have a really busy schedule. Do I need to be at every rehearsal?

A: Not at all! Every rehearsal video will be posted online along with a breakdown of choreography that you are expected to learn. Although in-person attendance is encouraged, it is not required until the week of rehearsals and the show.

Q: How many dances will I be in?

A: After reviewing your audition, you will be contacted with number of dances you have been cast in. At this point you may choose to accept all offered dances or choose to perform less routines to accommodate your needs. Even if you only have time for 1 routine we’d still love to have you!

Q: What will it cost?

A: We work hard to make our shows affordable while still offering the highest quality tap experience. The cost depends on how many routines you wish to perform. Any additional costs can include: cast t-shirts, and any other attire needs. Most wardrobes are a simple colored t-shirt to match your group and jeans. There are no requirements for tap shoe colors/brand/styles.

We also offer need based scholarships; inquire within.

Step 1: Fill out the audition form

Step 2: After submitting your form you will prompted to pay your audition fee. The fee is $20

Step 3: “friend” Suzy Guarino-Hall on Facebook so you have access to your audition choreography.

Be sure to follow Step 3 to ensure you are completely registered!

Application for Audition

If you are sending in a video audition please follow these important steps after submitting your registration: Pay the $20 audition fee via Venmo or Paypal. Next, send a friend request to Suzy Guarino-Hall on Facebook. You will then be added to the page of the appropriate level you selected to view the choreography you’ll need to learn. The instructions will be provided on the page.

Calling All Volunteers!
We are always in need of volunteers for the many aspects of producing our annual show. From set up to clean up, our show is a culmination of many people coming together to support our Tap 24.7 family. If you are interested in volunteering please check off all that apply below.

All material for the dances will be on private Facebook pages, broken down in sections. It is the dancer’s responsibility to learn the dances from the videos. Rehearsals will be used to clean the dance and answer questions.
